Tree Shaking

We offer tree shaking at all Johnson Brothers locations free of charge. We put your tree onto a machine called the Lil' Shakee and vibrate any loose needles out of your Christmas tree. Christmas trees naturally have an accumulation of last years needles nestled inside them.  You will enjoy seeing how many needles are being left at the Christmas tree lot instead of being carried into your home.

Tree Netting

We will wrap your Christmas tree in a netting material free of charge. This makes the tree easy to transport home without branch damage. It is also much more manageable to move the tree through doorways without scratching woodwork or paint. 

Tree Stands

We have the world's simplest tree stand–your tree can be put up in 2 minutes! We drill a hole in the bottom of your tree (free of charge) and you just pound the E-Z up spike water stand into your tree when you get home or have us install it before you leave our lot. No need to worry about those bottom branches, no screws to screw in. It is the best system around! We offer different sizes of stands to fit your tree. We also have disposable tree stands, just check with one of our employees to purchase the one right for you.

Stand Installation & Loading

Purchase a tree stand from us or bring your own stand and our employees will be happy to install it on any tree purchased from us at no extra charge. Your salesperson will fresh cut your tree base before installing the stand on your tree, this assures your tree will drink plenty of water and stay fresh during the holiday season. Vehicle Loading our employees have been trained to assist you in loading your Christmas tree onto your vehicle. We provide the tying twine, the tips on the safest way to load and tie down your tree, and the muscle to get it on top of your vehicle.

Deliveries

We provide local Christmas tree delivery within Orange and LA County for a very reasonable cost.  Deliveries can be scheduled same day, depending on availability. We give you a 3 hour time window as to when your tree will be delivered, 9 am to 12 noon, 12 noon to 3 pm, 3 pm to 6 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm  Our delivery people are polite and professional, with a desire to please their customers.   If you provide a pathway to the spot that you want your tree, our personnel will place the tree in that spot. Fire Retarding

Any building with public access is required to have all cut greens including Christmas trees fire retarded before the tree is put up for display. We are a California State Licensed Fire Retardant Applicator. The price is based on the size of the tree.

Flocking

We spray your tree with a white coating that looks like snow.  (Our snow doesn't melt.)  Most trees are sprayed with a medium flock that covers most of the branch, however if you wish you can spray it lighter so that it looks like a light or natural snow.  The coating is non-toxic and satisfies the State Fire Marshal's requirements for fire retarding for businesses if the coating is of medium thickness.  Prices are based on the size of the tree.

Tree Removal Bags

Set these plastic bags up under your tree skirt when you put up your tree. When you take the tree down, simply pull the bag up around the tree for a quick and clean way to carry your tree out of the house without leaving needles behind.

Preservative

A  2 ounce bottle of liquid additive for tree water.  It helps the tree to absorb and retain water. A miracle of modern science and space age technology in a little 2 ounce bottle, keeps the tree fresh, green and aromatic for weeks. Makes 2 gallons. Your tree will love you for it.

 Fresh Wreaths & Garland

Our most popular wreath is 28" across and is shipped to us from Washington.  We also stock smaller wreaths, evergreen centerpieces for your holiday table as well as Cedar garlands in any length up to 75' rolls.
